don't you think you should start seeing men instead of boys...

Had heard this somewhere and totally agree with it: better to date younger men, they never grow anyways!!
But FYI, am not throwing knives at boys because i have a personal grudge, just thought this was too cute and therefore posted it. But obviously the 'boys' in blogland have taken it too seriously!!

hey i love this poster...it is so cute....i also DO NOT UNDERSTAND why men have problems with this...and what does it matter whether it is boys or men? as for sadness, smriks and prayers...kindly keep those for your men-selves...we women can do all that for ourselves....
anubha i just love this poster...dont let these men deter you ....

@suchi: who have got scared??????

@anugem: no prayers will work for us miss. we are destined to be chewed up by stone-hearted women. and you dont need to throw knives, you can just throw a few shopping bags (filled with 'gifts' that we buy for you) that we carry for you on your shopping stints, and most of us would die. the rest of us would die out of boredom listening to the gossips about your friends we are least interested in. the countable die hards who will still deny to decease, you can just 'treat' them with your sense of humor. just send a few of such posters to them as email forwards and khallassss!!!!

dear mr sapphire, ah finally you have gathered enough courage to come back to maidan ee jung. welcome back, we were getting a little bored...oh what a stereotype picture you have drawn of the man woman relationship...reads like 19th century relationship...where men were the providers and women are recipients at least financially...what you forgot to mention was that in exchange for a few of those shopping trips and some gifts women bore these men children, kept their house, cooked, cleaned, washed and god know what else for them. seriously men are so ungrateful...another point if you cared to peer a little harder into the lives of those men and women in 99.9% you would see that these women were educated but sittig at home cos it hurt the husbands' egos that their wives would work....
say something original please....

Hmmm this is just perfect!! One chotu little poster and sooo much reaction!!! Im simply loving it!!
Am in complete agreement with Suchi, and anyways, mr. sapphire if its soo bad, go ahead look for other options, stop bothering us shoppaholic, gossiping women!

Mr. Sapphire.....you do the stone that you call yourself great injustice....please be calm and accept the entry made with some grace. It is just a poster which for those of us who have had some life experiences brings forth a few laughs (even my college going son with all his adolescent masochismo had a hearty laugh). Thank heavens for the sense of humour we have; we would have headed for the loony bin otherwise. However, if you, the sensitive person that you are, were to hear some of the stories and deal with them on a daily basis, you would probably go right ahead and not just throw knives at most of the men but also make sure that they found their mark. Or perhaps you actually are one of those who have a kind of sneer filled patronizing attitude towards women which probably is good for you given your considerable experience in life but please respect a person's space in cyber world atleast. Its Anu's view....don't share it its ok....we respect that...but get a grip and move on for everyone's sake Sir!!!

@suchi: please let me (gently, as always) point you out how you got it all mixed up. you are talking about things married women used to do for their husbands ... well ... in 19th century. please be informed that men only buy gifts to their girlfriends (why not to wives? plz read below) who do none of what you told, and in return get admonished at the drop of every hat in the world.

the fate of our married brothers today are even worse. they get robbed off all their money by their wives on the first day of the month. the rest of their story is that of a lifelong tight ropewalking and dancing to your tunes; any slight deviation to comply to your wishes and the slightest sign of self indulgence are met with blood-curdling snarls. oh beautiful creatures of god! have mercy on us, whom you are dragging along the dusty road holding us by the leashes. please hear to our whimpers, we are cho...k...i...n...g

@anugem: khud se nahi hua to proffesional writer bula laye? bachche ka jaan logey kya???

@muthu: you are so profound. i am so impressed. Is Saturday free hai kya? Coffee pe chalein??? (blushing...)

anugem said...

Bas bahut ho gaya!!! Mr sapphire, there seems to be a fair chance that we will be seeing each other in person at some stage, my advice to you is not to forget that! and kindly stop flirting with women through my blog! Hadd ho gayi!!

my dear sapphire,

i am really surprised about the man's world you live in, i knew men live in their own sexist world but i didnt know that they are this gravely unaware of the realities...pray in india it is the women who are dominated, discriminated, exploited, abused, stifled, raped...and you harp about a handful of spineless men who cant stand up to their wives or girl friends and say "enough i do not want to go shopping"...personally i have no time for such spinelessness...stop making mountain out of a hardly existing molehill...
as for the professional writer...well for professional fighters like you, people like anubha need fortification...
waiting for the next lash from you...

p.s. muthu you should just say yes to that coffee date and hold him to it when he is unable to turn up...

My lips are sealed.......

this is just soo much fun!!!

Muthu said...

My lips are sealed.....but coffee at my place on a Saturday when you are in town Mr. Sapphire? Don't know about being profound but as you can see I can be quite reasonable......

Anonymous said...

muthu throw knives at men no at a particular man who does not turn up for the coffee date which he himself proposed!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Anonymous said...

what yaaa men get scared and run away....boooo hooooo....

Sapphire said...

@suchi: No lashes from me miss. I am very busy with something much more interesting (see below for details)

@muthu: I accept your invitation madame. My privilege. As you can see, we are the two sensible people here. So lets forget the rest and have some quality time. Would you like brownies with coffee? Then I can bring some.

Second time in a row that you are being asked to leave someone's blog and take your 'affairs' to your own blog, mr. sapphire, some reputation you are gaining. Pliss to be taking your flirtations to your own domain!!!
